Meet the Maker

Jovanique Navarro has been a maker for most of her life. Her journey with metal smith began seven years ago and has evolved significantly in the past 4 years. She created "Días Del Sol" in 2020 to showcase and offer her work openly. Since, she has settled into her own studio space on Lummi Island, WA.

Her inspiration is drawn from the radiance of the sun and all that ebbs and flows beneath it. Theres is a vibrant quality in her work that she hopes to bring out in those that adorn themselves with her creations. Her offerings are talismans that evoke a sense of vitality and exuberance. Infused with light and earth centered symbolism her creations are that of wonder and harmony.

Working with materials intuitively and intentionally allow her to design consciously. It is important that she implements earth centered practices in her studio.  The materials she uses are often recycled, second hand, and ethically harvested.
